The Cascade Theatre teams up with Redding’s The Dance Project to present Swing! -- a celebration of the music and dance phenomenon that swept the nation in the '30s and '40s and has returned to become one of the hottest musical trends of the start of the 21st century. This all-singing, all-dancing evening dedicated to swing music stars virtuoso dancers, singers and a hot contemporary band. The show features over 30 tour de force dance numbers that put audiences "in the mood" -- some comic, some romantic, some nostalgic, some sexy, and all swingin'!  The music features some of the biggest hits of the original Swing Era such as In the Mood, I’ll Be Seeing You, and Stompin’ at the Savoy, plus several new compositions by some of the show's performers. Swing! was nominated for 6 Tony Awards.
